SongwritingWith:Soldiers brings together professional songwriters who are masters in the art of collaboration. They bring years of experience to this work. Many of them have been nominated and won music industry awards, written #1 songs, or had their songs on albums that have sold millions of copies.

Collaborative songwriting is powerful and demanding. At our retreats, songwriters take the participants’ words, stories and phrases, and together craft the lyrics.

Melodies are created on the spot. The participants want their story told. The writers want to tell the truth. The resulting songs are collaborations in the purest sense.

After the retreats, all the songs are registered with ASCAP with the participants as co-writers of their songs.
